The material (1) has a balance strip made of a flexibly deformable material and partially enclosed by a covering profile. Wall-lateral edges (5) of a metal window sill (2) are provided with a vertically and upwardly aligned wall strip (3). A profile strip (6) is sealingly attached on the wall strip, and surrounds the wall strip. The profile strip is enclosed by a form-stable housing (12) made of metal or plastic, where the housing is coupled with a neighboring wall. The profile strip consists of fine pored foam rubber, and the housing consists of aluminum or high-grade steel.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wandverbund (1) für Metall-Fensterbänke (2), insbesondere für Fensterbänke (2) aus Aluminium mit Ausgleichsstreifen (6) aus elastisch verformbaren Material, der zumindest teilweise von einem Abdeckprofil umschlossen ist. Zum Ausgleich von großen temperaturbedingten Längenänderungen von Fensterbänken und um das Eindringen von Regenwasser in die Fensterleibungen zu verhindern, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die wandseitigen Randkanten (5) der Fensterbank (2) jeweils mit einer im Wesentlichen vertikal nach oben ausgerichteten Wandleiste (20) versehen sind und, dass auf die Wandleiste ein die Wandleiste (20) zumindest annähernd vollständig umschließender, elastisch nachgiebiger Profilstreifen (6) dichtend aufgesteckt ist und, dass der Profilstreifen (6) von einem formstabilen Gehäuse (12) aus Metall oder Kunststoff umschlossen ist, welches mit der jeweils benachbarten Wand feststehend koppelbar ist.
