[origin: EP2453279A1] An electronic accessory (300) connectable to a remote electronic device through a data interface. The electronic accessory includes an electronic circuit (320) configured to exchange data through a data interface and an optical and electrical circuit connector (106). The optical and electrical circuit connector includes a connector body (106) configured to engage a corresponding connector (104), at least one optical terminal (130, 131, 133, 135) for the data interface coupled to the connector body, and at least one electrical data interface terminal (182) for the data interface coupled to the connector body. In one embodiment an inner (550) and an outer conductive ring (552) conduct electrical power.
