[origin: WO2011007321A1] The invention relates to a fixed dental prosthesis, comprising at least one prosthetic tooth (12) and a means for rigidly connecting the latter to natural abutment teeth (1, 2) in the mouth. Said means includes at least one rigid supporting member at least partially consisting of rods (10) on or around which at least said prosthetic tooth (12) is constructed or adhered, the assembly being shaped such that the relative position of the prosthetic tooth or teeth in relation to the supporting member is selected such that the supporting member then occupies an at least partially intratooth position. The ends of the supporting member of the prosthesis are subsequently placed in two proximolingual cavities (3, 4) provided for this purpose in both of the two natural abutment teeth (1, 2).
