Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011021970A1] Safety rupture valve (1), such as hose break valve, for systems with pressurized fluid intended to be connected between at least one line (hose) (5) and a first hydraulic component (9) such as a hydraulic cylinder, with the intention of sensing breakage or leakage in the line (5) or system before the safety rupture valve (1). The hose rupture valve (1) includes a valve block (valve housing) (2) provided with at least one first port (3) to which the line (5) is connected and at least one second port (4) to which the hydraulic component (9) is connected, the first port (3) and the second port (4) are connected with each other via at least one flow channel. The flow channel's flow is controlled by at least one pilot controlled pressure valve (11) which is controlled by pressure in at least one pilot line (12). The safety rupture valve includes at least one check valve which permits flow from the first port (3) to the second port (4) past the pilot controlled pressure valve (11). The unique feature of the invention is that the pilot controlled pressure valve's (11) pilot line (12) connects to the first port (3) via a first channel (connection or similar) (13) and that it connects to the second port (4) via a second channel (connection or similar) (14) and the first channel (13) is provided with at least one first restrictor (15) and that the second channel (14) is provided with at least one second restrictor (16) and that the flow in channel (14) between port (4) and restriction (15) is controlled by at least one pilot controlled check valve (17).
