Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2455301A1] The laminate (8) has reinforcement strips (7) laminated between an outer film (1) and a sealable film (3) and continuously bound with the outer film. The reinforcement strips are formed for manufacturing pouch packages with an integrated film gripper using a vertical form-fill sealing packaging machine. A hose section is filled with a product and closed with sealed seams. The film gripper is formed by an attachment of separating sections in the outer film of the laminate and by the reinforcement strips that are connected with the outer film. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a film laminate.
