[origin: EP2455517A2] The insert (2) has a fiber canal body with a main axle extended transverse to a main axle of a fiber canal. A stopper surface is oriented parallel to the main axle of the fiber canal, and determines a position of the fiber canal with respect to axial direction of an opening roller (4). The stopper surface comprises a positioning device and/or a centering device. Two working regions of the insert are radially displaced at the fiber canal body, where the insert is inserted into two radially displaced positions in a receiving opening (12) of an opening roller housing (3). An independent claim is also included for an open-end spinning device comprising a spinning element and an opening roller housing.
