[origin: EP2455542A2] The paving stone system (PSS) has multiple paving stones (2,3,4) of one paving stone type (P1) with circumferentially arranged lobes (7), where the lobes are arranged circumferentially on lateral surfaces in repetitive intervals. The paving stones have two lobes for each lateral surfaces lying between a cover surface and a base surface, so that a thrust transmission follow a shear force in each sector of a side surface, which is attached to a neighboring stone.
