Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2405065A1] The element (17) has an insulation body (31) defined by two contact surfaces (39, 41) for thermally separating two casting components. A transverse force-transmitting unit comprises transverse force-transmitting elements (35) continuously passing through the element toward one of the contact surfaces from the other contact surface. The transverse force-transmitting elements project above the contact surfaces about length in a range of 2 to 100 cm. Rectangular and cylindrical pressure elements (33a, 33b) surround the transverse force-transmitting elements in a partial circumferential manner.
