[origin: WO2011009715A1] The invention relates to an elevator car (2) for an elevator system (1), comprising a car door (9), a car door mechanism (6), at least one car door panel (10, 11), a door drive motor (21), and a drive control device (30) for the door drive motor. The car door mechanism (6) thereby supports the car door panel (10, 11). The drive control device (30) comprises an operator module (31) having an operator panel (32), wherein the operator module (31) is disposed on the elevator car (2) so that the operator panel (32) can be operated from the roof of the elevator car (2) and through an opened shaft door from a building floor.
