[origin: EP2457864A2] The elevator drive has an electro-motor that is designed for a frequency converter operation and has a rotor and a stator (10). A coil end disk (28) is arranged to separate phases of the electro-motor from each other. The coil also separates inlets and outlets of coils (20,22) of each phase of the electro-motor from each other. One of the rotor and the stator has a winding (18) in form of a needle winding. An independent claim is also included for a winding head disk for an electric motor.
