Abstract (en)
The device has a coupling device connected to a knitting cylinder (12), and a holding device (48) fastened to a round knitting machine. A lifting gear (36) is arranged between the coupling device and the holding device for vertical lifting or lowering the coupling device and the cylinder. An adjusting device (46) is arranged between the lifting gear and the coupling device for horizontally moving the lifting gear and the cylinder. The coupling device has a star-shaped carrier with radial arms, and the adjusting device has a horizontally-arranged running rail (45). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting and demounting of a knitting cylinder of a round knitting machine.

Zur Erleichterung des Wechsels eines Strickzylinders (12) an einer Rundstrickmaschine (10) wird das obere Traggestell (28) der Rundstrickmaschine (10) mit einer Hebeeinrichtung (47) versehen, die ein vertikales Anheben des Strickzylinders (12) sowie ein horizontales Verfahren des angehobenen Strickzylinders (12) ermöglicht. Dazu wird eine Laufschiene (45) mittels einer Halteeinrichtung (48) an dem oberen Traggestell (28) befestigt. Die Laufschiene (45) führt einen Laufwagen (44) der eine Hebevorrichtung (36) trägt. Diese kann aus einem Ausleger (43) mit einer Umlenkrolle (39) und einer Winde (40) bestehen, deren Zugseil (38) über die Umlenkrolle (39) zu einer als Greifer dienenden Koppeleinrichtung (37) führt. Diese greift den Strickzylinder (12) von innen her. Somit kann der große und schwere Strickzylinder (12) ohne Gefahr der Verletzung oder Beschädigung seiner empfindlichen Außenseite mit Nadelkanälen und sonstigen filigranen Strukturen aus der Rundstrickmaschine (10) heraus oder in diese hineinbewegt werden.
