Abstract (en)

The drophead (10) has a lowerable support (12) provided for a ceiling framework panel and pivotable from a vertical projection of the framework panel around a horizontal pivot axis in such a manner that the framework panel is lowerable at the support. The support has a back taper (14) acting in a vertical direction, and another support (18) is lowerable around a distance that is different from a lowering distance of the former support. The support is made from metal or fiber-reinforced plastic, and a head plate (22) is provided as a stop for the framework panel. An independent claim is also included for a ceiling framework system comprising a drophead.
