Abstract (en)
The watch has a movement (3) in contact with a middle (1) and in contact with a cover. A casing ring (4) is in contact with the middle. The casing ring includes an inner peripheral face e.g. truncated cone-shaped inner peripheral face (8), with a profile provided with a region. The movement is secured to an outer peripheral face e.g. truncated cone-shaped outer peripheral face (7), whose profile includes another region. The inner and outer peripheral faces are in contact with each other in the regions. An independent claim is also included for a method for casing a movement of a watch.

Montre à emboîtage rigide comprenant: - une carrure (1); - un fond (2); - un mouvement (3,3bis,3ter,41);et - une bague d'emboîtage (4,4bis,4ter,42) en contact avec la carrure (1); et se caractérisant en ce que - la bague d'emboîtage (4,4bis,4ter,42) présente une face circonférentielle interne (8,17) dont le profil comporte au moins une zone Z, la tangente (T) à laquelle forme un angle (±) non nul avec l'axe (X) passant par le centre du mouvement (3) et perpendiculaire au plan formé par ce dernier; - le mouvement (3) est solidaire d'une face circonférentielle externe (7,13,18,18bis) dont le profil comporte au moins une zone Z', la tangente (T') à laquelle forme un angle (±') non nul avec ledit axe (X); - lesdites faces circonférentielles interne (8,17) et externe (7,13,18,18bis) étant en contact l'une avec l'autre au niveau de leurs zones Z et Z' . Il est aussi divulgué un procédé d'emboîtage d'une telle montre.
