[origin: EP2458936A1] The device (1) has a microwave-pressurized cooking space (2), and a microwave-resonance sealing (9) microwave-tight sealing of the cooking space. A reader (10) i.e. transponder reader, is arranged outside the cooking space for radio-based communication by the microwave-resonance sealing in the microwave-pressurized cooking space. An antenna (11) of the reader is arranged in the form of a window outside the cooking space behind the microwave-resonance sealing. The window is accommodated in a cooking device muffle (3), which limits the cooking space. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an operation device for use in a microwave-sealed cooking space (2) a method for reading data of a sensor arranged within a microwave-sealed cooking space.
