Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011017796A1] An apparatus has a plurality of working elements that are independently movable between a retracted position and an extended in-use position Spring loaded actuation mechanisms have an element extending configuration whereat the working element is moved to the extended in-use position and an element retracting configuration whereat the working element is moved to the retracted position. Each actuation mechanism has a trigger member movable between an extension triggering position and a retraction triggering position. The actuation mechanism is urged to its retracting configuration by movement of the trigger member to its retraction triggering position and is urged to its extended in-use configuration by movement of the trigger member to its extension triggering position A bit selector having an extension portion is movable between various actuation positions whereat the extension portion engages a corresponding trigger member, thereby urging the actuation mechanism to the element extending configuration.
