[origin: WO2011012791A1] The invention relates to a method for assembling, in the form of an open-end box (2), a cardboard cutout (18) for manufacturing a cardboard box, as well as to equipment for implementing same. Accordance to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: collecting, in a warehouse (3), a cutout (18) having an inscription produced either in a standard or inverted manner, using a first extracting arm (7); keeping said first arm (7) applied on a first side of the cutout; then applying a second arm (9) onto a second side of the cutout, the second side being opposite the first side. The method of the invention includes implementing control means (10) after the application of the second arm (9), so as to assemble, in the form of an open-end box, the cutout having an inscription produced either in a standard or inverted manner, the control means actuating said first extracting arm (7) or the second arm (9) in order to open the cutout (18).
