Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011012342A1] The invention relates to a film composite and the use thereof as a mirror film in solar reflectors in view of the sustainable guarantee of the required reflection of solar radiation (total solar reflection). In particular, the invention relates to the use of cover films on the basis of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in the film composite, having an especially high UV stability, and a high weathering stability. The invention further relates to a UV and weather protection package for said solar mirror film, as utilized in solar reflectors, for improving the optical life span, weathering stability, and for avoiding delamination. The invention further relates to a surface finish with regard to scratch resistance, anti-soil and chemical stability of the solar mirror film.
