[origin: WO2011015762A1] The invention relates to a mechanical assembly, including: a control pulley (12) comprising a plurality of recesses (13), each of which are at least partially defined by an abutment-forming surface (15A, 15B); and a transmission means including abutment members (40) provided so as to mesh into said recesses (13) such that the actuation of said transmission means rotates said control pulley (12) by forming the abutment, against the corresponding abutment-forming surfaces (15A, 15B), of the abutment members (40) meshed into the recesses (13). The transmission means includes a control rope (30) that is made of a natural and/or synthetic material and provided with said abutment members (40).
