[origin: WO2011015323A1] A remotely actuable door opener (1) for installing in or on a door which has a positionally fixed door frame and a door leaf mounted movably on the door frame as described. The remotely actuable door opener (1) has a door opener housing (11) in which a movable door opener latch (12) and an electrically switchable locking device (15) are mounted, wherein the electrically switchable locking device (15) interacts directly or indirectly with the door opener latch (12) in such a manner that the door opener latch (12) can adopt a locking position and, after electrical activation of the locking device (15), can adopt a release position, wherein the door opener latch (12) is acted upon in the locking position thereof by a resetting spring (14). A ball latching device (13) which interacts with the door opener latch (12) is provided. The door opener latch (12) can be fixed in the locking position thereof by the ball latching device (13). The ball latching device (13) has a spring (13f) which is formed separately from the resetting spring (14). The fixing brought about via the ball latching device (13) can be cancelled via overload pressurization of the door leaf and via compression of the spring (13f) of the ball latching device (13).
