[origin: WO2011012367A1] A method is proposed for production of a magnetic sensor element (1 14), wherein the magnetic sensor element (1 14) has at least one magnet path (118), which extends along a displacement movement (1 16) and has a plurality of magnetic north-south junctions (120), and at least one magnet sensor which is mounted such that it can move relative to the magnet path. At least one of the magnetic north-south junctions is defined as the critical north-south junction (122), whose position is intended to be detected with a predetermined accuracy. Magnetic poles (128, 130) of identical polarity are arranged adjacent to the critical north-south junction (122).
