[origin: WO2010139807A1] The present invention relates to a method for determining the transmission quality of vehicle-to-vehicle communication and/or vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, wherein a first and a second event are considered. The aim of the invention is to allow conformance tests to be carried out in a simple, quick and economical manner. In order to achieve said aim, a first event time of the first event and a second event time of the second event are respectively synchronized with a time signal of a global or local navigation system, preferably a global satellite navigation system, for example GPS. The invention further relates to a corresponding device (2, 12). Other important criteria in respect of the conformance tests are the parameters latency and range.
