Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2460966A2] The device (1) has a closing element (3) e.g. accident barrier, sealingly placed on an opening bottom (2.1) and vertically movable guided in guides (4) between an open position in a upper area of an opening (2) of a room and a closed position on the bottom. The closing element is connected to a counterweight (5) and held motionless in the positions by the counterweight without additional force acting on the closing element. The closing element is coupled to a pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or motor drive unit (8) to move the closing element. The drive unit is coupled with drive energy storage (9).
