[origin: EP2461045A1] The valve assembly (1) has a main valve (4) associated with an electrically actuated pilot valve (5), and a valve chamber (12). The valve chamber feeds controllable amount of print medium through the main valve element (13) to the main feed channel (28a) of a branch portion. The main feed channel is partially traversed on the downstream side of a fluid channel (28), while the branch opening (45) feeds the print medium into the main channel at the time of flanking of flow retaining wall (53).
