Abstract (en)
The membrane (1) has two elliptical shaped asymmetrical areas (2, 3), hollowed out of the membrane with different uniform thickness from each other and less than thickness of a bottom part (4) of the membrane to maximize natural vibration frequencies of the membrane within a specific frequency range, where the membrane is dome-shaped. One of the elliptical shaped areas is centered on the membrane and another elliptical shaped area is off center on the membrane, where the areas are partly superposed. An independent claim is also included for a striking or musical watch including a watch case.

La membrane (1) de rayonnement acoustique est prévue pour être montée dans une boîte à musique ou une montre à sonnerie. La membrane est réalisée avec au moins une région de forme asymétrique formée dans le matériau de la membrane ou avec au moins une région de forme asymétrique ayant une épaisseur différente de l'épaisseur générale de la membrane. Elle comprend de préférence deux régions asymétriques en forme d'ellipse (2, 3), qui se superposent en partie et ont une épaisseur différente l'une de l'autre. Les deux ellipses (2, 3) de préférence excavées dans la membrane, sont décentrées l'une de l'autre.
