[origin: WO2011016061A1] An apparatus for determining the quantity of polluting agents in a gas mixture comprises a source (2) of a controlled gas mixture, a reaction chamber (3) inside which the said quantity of gas mixture is made to transit, and at least one test device (13) for analysing the quantity of polluting agents held by the gas mixture. The test device (13) comprises at least one open-cycle circuit (14a, 14b) and at least one closed-cycle circuit (15a, 15b) both interacting with a control unit (16) for a continuous and respectively discontinuous selective determination of the residual quantity of at least one type of polluting agent held by the gaseous mass.
