Abstract (en)
The drafting device in a fore-spinning process is characterized in that a drafting part clearer includes a plurality of support arms, a plurality of pairs of pressure devices and a suction duct. The support arms support a plurality of top rollers, respectively. Each support arm has an arm body through which a suction hole extends vertically at a position corresponding to the top roller. Each pair of pressure devices is mounted to the corresponding support arm on opposite sides of the support hole of the support arm. The suction duct has a plurality of suction ports. With the support arms set in operative position, the suction duct is movable between operative position in which the suction ports are located in facing relation to the corresponding support holes so that suction is created in the support holes and retracted position in which pivotal movement of the support arm is allowed.
