Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Gargerät und insbesondere ein Dampfgargerät. Erfindungsgemäß umfasst das Gargerät eine Gargerätemuffel 4, mit einem außerhalb der Gargerätemuffel 4 angeordneten Kühlluftgebläse 20, das an einer ins Freie mündende Kühlabluftvorrichtung 30 angeschlossen ist. Dabei ist das Kühlluftgebläse 20 neben einer Seitenwand 10, 12 der Gargerätemuffel 4 angeordnet.
