[origin: EP2463605A2] The housing component has shells (4,5) enclosing an insulation material containing cavity (8). A vacuum insulation panel (7) is fixed on the shell. The vacuum insulation panel is welded with respect to weldable plastic material which is provided at surface of shell. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing housing component.
