[origin: WO2011018699A1] An abrasion protection sleeve is provided for floor cleaning devices. This abrasion protection sleeve can be retroactively applied to different cleaning systems, used and later removed due to its being made of an elastic material. Resilient protrusions or material accumulations on the surface of the abrasion protection sleeve softens blows, thereby eliminating damage to furniture, base boards, moldings, furniture or room dividers.
