[origin: EP2465369A1] The impact protection system (1) comprises a multilayer sheet material (3) with an outer side (4) facing away from the user and an inner side (5) facing the user. The outer side of the multi-layer sheet material faces an outer layer of a fabric (6). The inside of the multi-layer sheet material faces an inner layer of a breathable spacer (7). A middle layer in the form of an adhesive layer (8) is formed between the fabric and the spacer. The fabric is bonded to the spacer by the adhesive layer.
