[origin: EP2465617A1] The method involves conveying a product stream (3) in input side of a pipe separator (1) provided in pipeline (2). The annular cross-section (6) of pipe separator is greater than that of pipeline. A diameter-enlarged tubular jacket (40) is provided at outside of the annular cross section of pipe separator. The cleaning air (9) is flowed out at preset angle with respect to product stream in the region of a cleaning layer (16) provided in the inner structure (14) of pipe separator so as to separate fine particles from product stream. An independent claim is included for pipe separator.
