[origin: EP2465663A2] The system has a machine element manually arranged in a target position in an alternating direction in a holder (2) by a changer. A securing unit includes a securing element that is fixed in the target position, and another securing unit is arranged in the target position. The machine element is fixed in a securing position that differs from the target position. The securing element is movably arranged in the holder and arranged in a locking position on the machine element by a spring force. A monitoring device detects a securing position of the machine element. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a container treating machine.
