[origin: EP2466549A1] The vehicle device (5) has transceiver for short range radio communication (4,11) selectively to toll beacons (2) with respect to lower-lying control beacons (9). The transceiver has an antenna system having different radio coverage areas (8,12) relative to vehicle device. The vehicle device is configured, such that radio communication is performed with respective beacons. An antenna system is connected with evaluation device, so that start of radio communication with beacon (2) is detected.
