[origin: EP2466689A1] The clamping contact (13) has contact pad (15) for conditioning the electrical conductor (18). The contact pad is connected with spring leg (20) over connecting link (26) such that the conductor is provided into terminal point between spring leg and contact pad. The angle of contact pad is oriented corresponding to the insertion direction of the conductor between spring leg and contact pad. A release lever is provided in the movement path of electrical conductor. The free end of spring leg is held by a holding pin of the release lever in an open position.
