Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2466697A1] The module has a front socket face (9) for an external connector according to requirements. A fixing element connection-socket face is provided with module socket contacts (12) guided in an end insulator block (31). A fixing element (3) and a contact module (7) are formed such that the fixing element and the contact module are in engagement with cutting clamping contacts (14) by producing an electrical connection between the module socket contacts, so that wire strands (1) of the fixing element stay in electrical conductive connection with sliding contacts (10) of the module. An independent claim is also included for a method for packing a data cable connection module.
