[origin: WO2011020694A2] The invention relates to a drying device having a molded part comprising a hollow chamber formed by an inner dimensionally stable wall or a plurality of inner dimensionally stable walls, and an outer dimensionally stable wall or a plurality of outer dimensionally stable walls, wherein a superabsorbent material is present between the inner wall(s) and the outer wall(s), and at least one wall is permeable to water and/or water vapor. The drying device can be used in a clothes dryer for reducing the drying time.
