The invention is characterized in that an opening in a turbine wall (14) is provided in a connection region (10) of the electron beam apparatus (4) to the steam turbine (2), through which the electron beam (6) enters the steam chamber (8) of the steam turbine (2), wherein the electron beam apparatus (4) comprises at least two chambers through which the electron beam (6) transits, and that the at least two chambers (16, 18) comprise a different pressure level.
