Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Färbespule, die mit ihrer Färbespulenhülse im Spulenrahmen einer Spulvorrichtung einer Textilmaschine gehaltert ist, wobei die Spulvorrichtung eine Einrichtung zum Rotieren der Kreuzspule sowie eine Einrichtung zum Changieren eines Fadens aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass zu Beginn der Spulenreise der Färbespule (11) in der Wicklungsart Präzisionswicklung gewickelt und dabei mit einem Kreuzungswinkel (±) gestartet wird, dessen Anfangswert bei > 40 Grad liegt und dass bei Erreichen eines vorgebbaren, kleineren Kreuzungswinkels (± 1 ), dessen Wert bei < 35 Grad liegt, auf die Wicklungsart Stufenpräzisionswicklung umgeschaltet wird.
