Abstract (en)

A laundry-drier machine has a cabinet (2), housed within which is a rotary drum (3) for the laundry. The machine (1) has a control system (5, 6, 25, 26) pre-arranged for controlling execution of at least one operating program that comprises a drying step. The drying step includes at least one substep, during which the drum (3) is brought to assume a given speed of rotation, which is equal to or higher than the minimum speed that enables the garments to be kept adherent to the wall of the drum (3). The control system (5, 6, 25, 26) comprises sensor means (26) for detecting, in the course of the drying step, values of moisture of at least one of the load of laundry contained in the drum (3) and the air of the forced flow (F) leaving the drum (3). The control system (5, 6, 25, 26) is pre-arranged for starting said substep, at the given speed of rotation of the drum (3), when a value of moisture detected is equal to or lower than a first threshold moisture value.
