The hood (1) has a fastening device for fastening of a vapor shield (3) to a viewing hood (2). The fastening device has a retaining profile (10) and a counter profile (11) with a fastening element, where the retaining profile has a retaining area for retaining a part of the vapor shield. The counter profile is provided for fixing the shield to the viewing hood. The shield is made from heat resistant material i.e. glass. An operating element for operating the extractor hood is arranged at the retaining profile. The retaining profile is arranged at a rear side of the extractor hood. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a vapor shield to a viewing hood.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugshaube (1) mit einer Befestigungsvorrichtung zur Befestigung eines Wrasenschirms (3) an einer Sichthaube (2) einer Dunstabzugshaube (1). Die Befestigungsvorrichtung weist dabei wenigstens ein Aufnahmeprofil (10) und wenigstens ein Konterprofil (11) auf, wobei das wenigstens eine Aufnahmeprofil (10) einen Aufnahmebereich zur Aufnahme zumindest eines Teils des Wrasenschirms (3) aufweist und wobei das wenigstens eine Konterprofil (11) zur Fixierung des Wrasenschirms (3) an der Sichthaube (2) befestigt ist. Zudem betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zum lösbaren Befestigen eines Wrasenschirms (3) an einer Sichthaube (2) einer Dunstabzugshaube (1).
