[origin: EP2469970A2] The cooking device (16) has control unit (14) to adjust average output power of high-frequency heating units (10,12), so as to avoid inter-modulation noise. The control unit changes one of the high-frequency heating units to non-zero frequency value while another high-frequency heating unit is maintained at non-zero frequency value. An independent claim is included for method for operating cooking device.
