[origin: WO2011023814A1] The present invention relates to a door fitting having two door plates and a bracing element in order to brace the two door plates against a door leaf and/or with respect to one another in tension, wherein the bracing element is situated in an installation opening in the door leaf provided for a locking cylinder when the two door plates are mounted on the door leaf. According to the invention, the door fitting is fastened substantially without additional bores and corresponding screws only with the aid of the bracing element. Since the bracing element is arranged within an opening in the door leaf which is already present in any case, a drilling of additional fastening holes in the door leaf is not necessary.
