Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2290876A1] The method involves signing a boarding authorization request (4) with a private key (3) and an asymmetric cryptographic algorithm i.e. rivest, shamir and adleman algorithm. The authorization request is transmitted to a server i.e. trusted third party (7). A signature (6) of the authorization request is verified by the server. A valid authorization (9) is generated by the server. The authorization is signed by the server. The signed authorization is transmitted from the server towards an electronic identity document i.e. passport (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for considering an electronic authorization related to an electronic identity document.
