Abstract (en)
The post (1) has a lower insertion portion (11) and an upper mast region (14). A locking unit (3) e.g. locking pin is provided in lower insertion portion and is inserted into a foot base (2). The upper mast region is in the shape of tubular square. Several angled pieces (15) are provided in the upper mast region for fixing the horizontal element with post. An independent claim is included for assembly for constructing fall protection post.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Pfosten zum Befestigen auf einem Anschlussstück und zum Befestigen von Horizontalstreben eines Geländers. Dieser weist einen unteren Einschubbereich, dessen Profil derart ist, dass es in oder auf ein entsprechendes Anschlussprofil des Anschlussstückes gesetzt werden kann und einen sich vom Einschubbereich nach oben erstreckenden Mastbereich, dessen Profil derart ist, dass Anbauteile, insbesondere zum Befestigen von Horizontalstreben eines Geländers, daran befestigbar sind, auf. Der erfindungsgemäß Pfosten ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Profil des Einschubbereichs ein Rundprofil und das Profil des Mastbereichs ein Vielkantprofil ist, oder alternativ das Profil des Einschubbereichs ein Vielkantprofil und das Profil des Mastbereichs ein Rundprofil ist.
