[origin: CA2772671A1] The invention relates to a device for damping and/or decelerating, comprising a housing, a pressure part guided within the housing, and a cylinder piston unit arranged in the housing and in the pressure part. An anchor part mounted in the housing engages the pressure part. Furthermore, the anchor part can be connected to the housing in at least two different positions in a form-fitting, force-fitting, or bonding manner. The invention develops an inexpensive, adjustable device for damping and/or decelerating.
