Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2474692A2] The device (11) has an electromechanical latch e.g. holding brake or rotating lock, and a handle (12) e.g. push rod or handle bar, for operating a lock (9). A bolt is provided for reverse-closing of closing latches (6, 6') by rotational movement. A force storage unit i.e. spring storage unit e.g. spiral spring, is arranged downstream of the handle to store force exerted on the handle. The storage unit is in effective connection with outlet side of the bolt such that the stored force is converted into torque acting on the bolt, where the latch is arranged downstream of the storage unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for opening a door closing device.
