Ein Warensicherungsetikett zur Verhinderung des unbefugten Entnehmens einer Ware, enthaltend zwei relativ zueinander bewegliche Elemente, die in der Arbeits- bzw. Sicherungsposition lösbar an der Ware befestigbar und gegen unbefugtes Lösen von der Ware mittels einer Verriegelungseinrichtung gesichert sind, die zum autorisierten Abnehmen des Etiketts von der Ware mittels einer von außen ausgeübten. Kraft aus der Sicherungsposition in eine Freigabeposition verstellbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Elemente (1: 3) derart relativ zueinander verstellbar sind, dass die Ware zwischen ihnen festklemmbar ist.
