[origin: WO2011029594A2] The invention relates to a bending machine for bending elongate workpieces, in particular tubes and profiles, comprising a machine frame (20) having a feed device (30) and a mandrel retraction device (40) that are guided thereon in a longitudinally displaceable manner. The invention further relates to a bending fixture (60) having at least one bending tool (65), wherein a collet (50) receiving the at least one workpiece (11) is associated with the feed device (30). Both the feed device (30) and the mandrel retraction device (40) are laterally guided on the machine frame (20) in a longitudinally displaceable manner, so that the charging of the feed device (30) with the at least one workpiece (11) and the operability of the mandrel retraction device (40) can be effected easily and in a user-friendly manner. The bending fixture (60) is fitted with a pivoting clamping arm (70) having at least one clamping jaw (64) by means of which a particular workpiece (11) can be bent around the bending tool (65). The clamping arm (70) is of box-shaped construction, in which a sliding carriage (75) receiving the at least one clamping jaw (64) is guided so as to be adjustable on both sides.
