[origin: WO2011029667A1] The invention relates to an assembly (1) for a valve drive of an internal combustion engine, comprising a hydraulic support element (2) and a cam follower (4) connected thereto by way of a clamp (3), the follower resting on one end (5) by way of a cap (6) in the bottom side (7) thereof on a spherical head (8) of a pressure piston (9) of the support element (2). The pressure piston (9) extends across the outer shell (10) in a bore (11) of a crucible-like housing (12) of the support element (2). The clamp (3) flanks the cap (6) with holding strips (13) along the sides. The inner sides (14) run in a guide zone (15) on the outer shell (10) of the pressure piston (9), wherein the housing (12) comprises an opening (17) for hydraulic fluid that can be conducted via a channel (18) between the housing (12) and the pressure piston (9) through at least one passage (19) in the pressure piston (9) to a storage chamber (20). The guide zone (15) on the pressure piston (9) is also designed as an anti-rotation mechanism therefor. The pressure piston (9) is installed in a defined manner and is torsionally oriented in relation to the cam follower (4).
