The band blower (1) has grinding unit (3) for processing a workpiece (4). A nozzle assembly formed by continuous casting of aluminum or plastic has several nozzles for blowing the air to the grinding unit in relation to their running direction (L). A control device for controlling the stripping of compressed air from the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly has several nozzle rows that are located offset to each other. The control unit is arranged at two rows of nozzles, such that nozzles are independently operated with respect to one another. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for cleaning grinding device; (2) grinding unit; and (3) workpiece processing machine.

Bandabblasvorrichtung 1 für ein Schleifaggregat 2 mit einer Schleifeinrichtung 3 zum Bearbeiten eines Werkstücks 4, mit einer Düsenanordnung 8 umfassend eine Vielzahl von Düsen 12 zum Ausblasen von Luft, welche in Bezug auf deren Laufrichtung L quer über der Schleifeinrichtung 3 angeordnet ist und auf die Schleifeinrichtung 3 gerichtet ist, wobei die Düsenanordnung 8 zumindest eine Leitungseinrichtung umfasst, die Druckluft zu den Düsen 12 leitet. Ferner umfasst die Bandabblasvorrichtung eine Steuereinrichtung, die das Ausblasen der Druckluft aus der Düsenanordnung 8 steuert. Die Düsenanordnung 8 weist mehrere Düsenreihen 10 auf, von denen bevorzugt zumindest zwei zueinander versetzt sind, und die Steuereinrichtung ist eingerichtet, zumindest zwei Düsenreihen 10 unabhängig voneinander zu betreiben.
